Australia Wins The 2015 World Cup

Australia defeated New Zealand today in the final of the ICC Cricket World cup to win the title for a record 5 times.
The final was probably one of the most one sided final ever played in the history of Cricket with the Australians dominating throughout the match.


New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat which soon turned into a nightmare for them as they lost their captain very early.The New Zealand was not able to recover from this early blow and keep on losing wickets at a regular interval.No batsman was able to provide support to Grant Elliot who was trying his best on one side of wicket.
In the end New Zealand managed only 183 runs on the board and gave Australia a target of 184.
Australis lost Aaron Finch early but New Zealand was not able to capitalize on the early break trough as Australians kept on building partnership and ultimately won the match with the help of half centuries from Captain Michael Clarke and Steve Smith.
Australia won the prestigious tournament for the record firth time.
New Zealand was not able to with the tournament but they surely won many hearts throughout the tournament by winning all the matches before the final.
James Faulkner was given the Man Of The Match award and Stark was judged Man Of The Series.
