Saina Nehwal In All England Final
The Indian Star Badminton player created history on Saturday by becoming the first ever Indian women to reach the All England Badminton Final by beating China’s Sun Yu 21-13,21-13 in straight sets.
Before her just two players Prakash Padukone and P Gopichand have bagged the prestigious title in 1980 and 2001 respectively.

The 24 years old will face Spain’s Carolina Marin in the final on Women’s day.
The London olympic bronze medalist had earlier reached the semifinal of the prestigious tournament twice in 2010 and 2013, but was unable to reach the final on both the occasions.
Saina ad come into the match with a 1-2 record against Sun, who had defeated her during the 2013 China open with Saina defeating her in Australian open last year.
Sun got off to a good start and got a 0-2 lead over saina but after that Saina looked in control througout the match .
Many unforced errors by Sun also helped Saina to seal the game in her favour.
Saina kept the pressure on the chinese drawing her close to the net and capitalising on her better net play
After the win a jubilant Saina threw her racquet to the crowd, celebrating her place in the finals.
Saina has had upper hang against Marin in all the games they played against each other, so the odds are in her favour and she is just one step away from creating history and joining the tally of legends India has produced in the field of Badminton.
Today is Women’s day and there is no better day then this for Saina to claim one of the biggest title in Badminton..
