A new twist has deepened the murder mystery of IAS officer D K Ravi.
Earlier it was reported that he called his batchmate 44 times in one hour prior to his death on march 16,but now the husband of the Batchmate has claimed that Ravi did not called hsi wife 44 times that day.

According to the advocate of the bachmate and her husband she only received 3 calls from Ravi and not 44 calls,as claimed by the state government and CID.
"The reports said that 44 calls were made in 1 hour.There were not even 4 calls.I(husband) was with her"said the advocate on behalf of the husband of the female IAS officer.
Earlier opposition leader Kumaraswamy had challenged the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to prove that Ravi called the woman 44 times.
He said, "If Siddaramaiah proves that Ravi had indeed made 44 calls to the woman IAS officer,I will quit politics,"
IAS officer Ravi was found dead at his official residence in South Bengaluru on 16 march.
The state Government,Police and CID claimed that Ravi committed over some personal issues.
However opposition and the family members held protests across Karnataka and demanded CBI probe.
Karnataka CM was finally pressurised to Handover the case from CID to CBI.
