Salman Khan,Akshay Kumar,Ranbir Kapoor: Actors Turned Boxers To Hit A Punch At Box Office

It is a well known fact that Akshay Kumar is playing a boxer in his next flick Brothers and Ranbir Kapoor is also playing a boxer in Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet..
Now it has been learnt that Salman Khan will also play a boxer in his next Sultan in which he is paired opposite to Deepika Padukone.
So it seems that boxing is  the next big topic that would be talked about in the country for some time now.

Filmmakers are trying different genres to connect with audiences now a days.

Last year, female centric movies were all over Bollywood with Priyanka Chopra, Kangana 

Ranaut and Alia Bhatt taking up the mantle in ‘Mary Kom’, ‘Queen’ and ‘Highway’ and 

making the actors run for their money.

The filmmakers have turned towards boxing and wrestling now to  be  the  main  theme  of their movies.

 According to recent reports Salman Khan is slated to play a 40-year-old boxer in the movie Sultan ,being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

It is being said that Karan Johar's Shuddhi has been again postponed.

Aamir Khan has turned wrestler for his next ‘Dangal’, in which he sports a salt ‘n’ pepper 

look. He has even beefed up a little for the role. He is reportedly,sporting three different 

 looks for the movie, which is based on the life of Mahavir Phogat.

 Akshay Kumar is also playing a boxer in the upcoming drama ‘Brothers’, whose first official poster was revealed recently . Akshay sports a rugged look in the movie. The actor, reportedly, lost oodles of weight for the venture.

His Co-star in the movie Sidharth Malhotra is also playing Boxer in the film.

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor has also turned street fighter for his next venture, 

Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’. He is playing the role of Johnny Balraj in the film.
